Ignacy Grzeskowiak, a journalist with an awfully difficult surname.

Hi as you might know by now my name is Ignacy Grzeskowiak and I'm a graduate of Journalism at City, University of London. I'm from Bydgoszcz, Poland, and throughout my academic journey I've done some things that I'm proud of. So the Unpronounceable Surname Blog will be on the one hand a digital portfolio, on the other a blog on which I will regularly write more opinion-based things, some in English and others in Polish. When it comes to my professional path I'm mostly interested in music journalism, feature writing, and sports journalism. I'm an easy-going, open-minded person that always looks for ways to improve myself. I'm heavily inspired by the writing style of the New Journalism movement, especially by the socio-political commentary of Hunter S.Thompson and sharp music reporting from Nick Kent. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, do a little bit of gaming or watch a good movie. My father was a journalist in the past and his values of objectivism and sincerity are something that really shaped me and inspired me to follow this path of career. When it comes to my technical abilities I am competent in the use of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and Adobe Lightroom.
